Brow Aftercare

Waxing avoid sun exposure, exfoliation, cream with fragrance or other ingredients that may be irritating and excessive heat (hot tubs, saunas) for at least 24 to 48 hours after waxing.

DAYS 1 & 2:
The eyebrows will be darker and bolder in width than they will be when healed. Slight swelling and/or redness may be present. Gently wash your eyebrows morning and night with water and the antibacterial cleanser provided to you in your aftercare kit. With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse the eyebrows.

Rub the area in a smooth motion for 10 seconds and rinse with water ensuring that cleanser is rinsed away. To dry, gently pat with a clean paper towel. Apply a thin layer of the aftercare moisturizer provided to you in your aftercare kit wit a cotton swab and spread it across the treated area. Be sure not to over-apply as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. The moisturizer should be transparent on the skin.

DAY 3-7:
Eyebrow area my be itchy and appear thicker in texture. Expect the exfoliation process to begin. Exfoliation will cause excess pigment in the brow area to peel, flake or scab away. DO NOT pick the treated area. Picking can scarring or pigment loss.

Gently wash your eyebrows morning and night with water and the antibacterial cleanser provided to you in your aftercare kit. With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse the brows. DAY 7+
After the exfoliation process the pigment will fade, then resurface and should appear softer in color.

No sun exposure 30 days prior to your procedure

No exercise activity the day of your scheduled appointment

Do NOT take Aspirin, Fish Oil, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen unless medically necessary, 72 hrs prior to your procedure.

No alcohol for 24 hours to your procedure

No caffeine or salty foods for 24 hours to your procedure.

Facials, Botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion should be performed 4 weeks prior to the procedure

Lash Lift Aftercare

 

No heat, steam, saunas, water, oils, lotions, creams, shampoos, face washes, makeup remover wipes or pads on lashes for minimum of 24 hours. Only approved product to put on immediately after a lift that will not cause your Ellebana Lash lift to fall is the Elleevate Mascara.

Be advised that your lashes are still maleable (shape shifting) during the first 24 hours a side sleeper or face sleeper can notice one or both eyes can raise or drop, leaving the lashes misshaped.

Sleeping on back is best. Staying away from face washes that are mainly oil will also cause lashes to drop prematurely. 

If you apply the Elleevate mascara make sure that you remove it with cold water; with in a 24 period.

PERMANENT MAKEUP RESULTS CAN BE AFFECTED BY THE CONDITION OF YOUR SKIN AT THE TIME OF THE PROCEDURE.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW POST-PROCEDURAL INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN LOSS OR DISCOLORATION OF PIGMENT.
